The Measured Entity has been identified as an Exempted Micro-Enterprise in terms of paragraph 4 of Statement 000 issued under section 9 (1) of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act, Act No 53 of 2003 and therefore qualifies for BEE compliance exemption by nature of the fact that the Enterprise has an annual turnover of less than R5 million. As an Exempted Micro-Enterprise it is deemed to have a B-BBEE Status Level of “Level Four Contributor” having a B-BBEE procurement recognition of 100% under paragraph 6.3.
